Introducing The Leslie 991
Special Introductory Offer (see below)

Replacing the venerable Leslie 981, the 991 follows in the same footsteps and concept of its predecessor. Utilizing the components in the Leslie 3500, the 991 is a full sized Leslie Speaker giving its 15" bass woofer the increased cubic inches of internal cabinet volume necessary for a deep, and quite full bass response. It also elevates the projection level of the rotating horn the height of most vintage, full-sized Leslie Speakers.
The Leslie 991 is a 300-Watt (RMS) powerhouse with a 220-Watt amplifier powering the 15" woofer and an 80-Watt amplifier exclusively for the rotating horn. Like the Leslie 3500, the 991 uses the same 15" woofer used in the 122/142H Leslies. This woofer truly reproduces the sound of the vintage 122 woofer.
On the high end, the Leslie 3500 incorporates the same High Frequency Driver and horn assembly used in the exclusive 122-H and 142-H Leslies, a horn assembly patterned after the pre-1970's vintage Leslie Speakers.
Additional
new features include three band equalization, a special Bass Output
for utilizing an amplified sub-woofer, a 1/4" line level Rotary
Input for use with instruments without the 11-pin Leslie output.
Most importantly, at least from our perspective here at Hammond
Central, the 991 routes all stereophonic non-rotary sounds coming
from any organ or keyboard with extra voices, to Right and Left
Channel line level Stationary Outputs that can then be routed to a
stereo PA, self-powered speakers or even a mixer.
We're excited about the new Leslie 991 and greatly appreciate the thought that went into improving and refining the remarkably dependable Leslie 3300 and Leslie 981 Series.
